Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) is a minimally invasive medical procedure to treat a condition called aortic stenosis. This condition occurs when the aortic valve in the heart becomes narrow and doesn’t open properly, making it hard for blood to flow from the heart to the rest of the body which can lead to symptoms like chest pain, fatigue, and shortness of breath and dizziness.

How Does TAVI Work?

In tradition heart valve surgery, chest is opened to replace the valve. TAVI is different as it doesn’t involve major surgery.
